As I stated in the previous post, YouTube, GoogleVideo, and other video sharing sites seem to compress the heck out of videos that are uploaded even though they know it will effect the quality dramatically. Well, after a little trial and error, I found a great site called Vimeo where I was able to upload my Zipline Video with no compression, or loss of quality issues. Sweet!
After a few hours of editing and finagling with all of the footage that I got while we were Zip-lining up in Lincoln, NH this past weekend I finally threw together a 4 minute video of the trip. Unfortunately GoogleVideo and YouTube compressed the heck out of it so the quality isn’t what it should be. Oh well, click on the link below… Enjoy!
We woke up this morning around 8:30AM and finished up some last minute packing before loading up my car with all of our gear. Liz decided to bring her closet with her, so it made it sort of difficult to see out my rear window. Not really, she actually did good! Only because I forced her to leave what I thought was unnecessary back at home.
Anyways, so we loaded the car and headed on up to New Hampshire. Surprisingly enough there was a little traffic before we got to Boston but luckily we were in no real rush to get up there.
A last minute decision has turned into an weekend full of adventure for myself and Liz! Yesterday we decided instead of sticking around here and going hiking, biking, walking, or whatever other sport/adventure that ends in “ing” that we would shoot up to New Hampshire and make a weekend of it.
It was sort of a pain to book the accommodations because it was so last minute. We were originally looking into staying in a cabin or a cottage up in Lincoln, NH but due to NO VACANCY across the board we decided to booking reservations for a motel in the area that has received a bunch of great reviews on TripAdvisor. It’s in a great location and it’s close to everything that we have planned for the weekend so it should work out to be very handy.Continue Story… »
I’ve spent the last couple of weeks sorting through all of my photos and videos from the trip. I’ve been slowly filtering through each and every video clip and I just uploaded a few new videos from my Euro Trip! Check out the videos here:
Nothing much going on at the current moment around here. Same old! Just trying to get back into the swing of things. I’m back on U.S Time, no more of this five or six hours ahead stuff. It absolutely killed me for the first few days back.
Next month seems to be filling up quick with all sorts of adventures and plans. We’re heading to NYC for the weekend of August 22nd-24th for Liz’s Birthday, and a group of us just booked a White Water Rafting trip on the Dead River in Maine for Labor Day weekend. I’m really looking forward to both trips. Should be a blast!

In the beginning I was told that keeping a blog while traveling would be nearly impossible. With the availability of internet and open Wi-Fi connections across Europe, and the sheer work load of writing in depth each night about my experiences in all of the cities and countries that I would soon be visiting, I knew this would be quite the task!
After completing three full months of blogging on the road, I truly found out how difficult it actually is to find time to sit down each night and put my day, thoughts and experiences down on paper or on the web in this case. Not only did I have to worry about writing often enough but I also knew that I had to make every blog entry interesting and read worthy. It had to be interesting enough that people from all over the world would actually look forward to tuning in to read what I had been up to and where I’ve traveled to over the past few days. I needed to find a way to engrave my website into my visitors heads and make them want to come back for more every day or two.Continue Story… »
